I have extensive experience in early childhood education, special education, and developmental psychology. I am currently working in Developmental Psychology (June 2020–present) and bring a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis, early intervention, and supporting young children with diverse learning and developmental needs.

I hold multiple degrees focused on education and behavioral science, including:

·        MA in Teaching, Early Childhood Education – National University (September 2013)

·        BA in Early Childhood Education – National University (July 2012)

·        AS in Early Childhood Education – Columbia Junior College (December 2002)

I was drawn to this field through a deep interest in child development and a desire to support children in ways that honor their individuality, strengths, and differences. Understanding how children learn, communicate, and regulate has been a long-standing passion and purpose in my work.

In my free time away from work, I enjoy engaging in activities that help me recharge and stay curious—whether that’s learning something new, spending time in calming environments, or enjoying moments of creativity and reflection.  A fun fact about me is that I genuinely enjoy learning and will happily deep-dive into a topic that sparks my interest.  A bucket list goal is to continue growing professionally while making a meaningful, lasting impact in the lives of children and families.

One of my sensory quirks or divergent tendencies would be, like many people, I have sensory preferences and self-regulation habits—such as needing quiet moments to reset or using small movements or fidgets to stay focused and grounded.
